A native of Duplin County, N.C., she had been a Hampton resident for 44 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband of 56 years, William R. Branch; two daughters, Donna Barr of Toano and Patricia Bennett of Fenwick, W.Va.; two sons, Clark L. Branch of Hampton and Brian K. Branch of Oakdale, Conn.; three brothers, Stanley Henderson and Raymond Henderson, both of Jacksonville, N.C., and Albert Henderson of Wallace, N.C.; and four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Lawrence Barry. Burial will follow in Veterans rial Gardens.
