HAMPTON Vetrice Mae Branch, 82, died Friday, Aug. 1, 1997. A native of Duplin County, N.C., she had been a Hampton resident for 44 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband of 56 years, William R. Branch; two daughters, Donna Barr of Toano and Patricia Bennett of Fenwick, W.Va.; two sons, Clark L. Branch of Hampton and Brian K. Branch of Oakdale, Conn.; three brothers, Stanley Henderson and Raymond Henderson, both of Jacksonville, N.C., and Albert Henderson of Wallace, N.C.; and four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.  Monday, Aug. 4, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Lawrence Barry. Burial will follow in Veterans rial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
