Mr. Holland was a son of the late Carr and Christine Holland. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Texanna Holland; a son, Willie E. Holland, and a daughter, Miss Clara Mae Holland, all of Nansemond county. Also four grandchildren survive him, as do a sister, Mrs. Julia Tomlin, and a brother, Carr Holland, Jr., all of Nansemond. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. Dr. N. G. Newman and the Rev. W. M. Jay, officiating. Burial will be made in the family cemetery.
