Margaret L. Scott  

Bellevue Margaret L. (Kell) Scott, 87, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 1995, at home after a four month illness.  

She was born May 5, 1908, in Bloomington, Minn. to Lewis and Alice (Chase) Kell. She lived most of her life in Portsmouth, Va., and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School there.  

She was a homemaker and moved to Bellevue in 1984 to live with her daughter.  

She married George E. Scott on June 21, 1928. He died in 1969.  

Also preceding her in death were sons, George R. and William C. Scott, and daughters, Joan Burchett and Margaret Reynolds. Surviving are a son, John L. Scott of Portsmouth, Va.; daughters, Ellen Carpenter and Sandra Orvace of Bellevue and Alice Burris of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; 25 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 21 great great grandchildren.  

Community involvement, hobbies: Attended Baseline United Methodist Church.  

Services: Services and burial will take place in Virginia.
