Mrs. Mattie Lee Kindley, aged 27, of 1225 Truxtun street, South Norfolk, died yesterday at 2:30 a. m. at a local hospital after an illness three weeks. She was a native of Beaufort county, N. C., and had made her home here for the past 12 years. Mrs. Kindley was a daughter of William and Melissa Cutler Simpson. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, General Grant Kindley; two daughMattie Earline and Joan Marie Kindley; two sons, Douglas Grant and Jesse Benjamin Kindley, all of South Norfolk, and one sister, Miss Caddie Sicpson, of Norfolk county. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
