He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lanter: three sons, Robert, Willie, and Paul Lanier, and one sister Mrs. Hattie Broweder. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at his home conducted by Rev. Rosco Jones, Burlal was at Armstead Hawkins' place, where his mother was buried in Brunswick County.
