Lorraine Laxton, 56, of Chesapeake, Va. passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She is preceded in death by her father, William Boomhower. She is survived by her mother, Alice Rolfe. 

She is also survived by her loving husband, Kendall Laxton; sons, Zachary Collier, Josh Collier (Athena); grandson, David B. Collier; brother, William Boomhower (Betsy); niece, Delaney Boomhower; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 

Lorraine loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed football games, especially watching Tom Brady play. She liked the Boston Red Sox, cooking, and motorcycles. She enjoyed spending time in New Hampshire with extended family. Lorraine always had a positive outlook, a love for life, and could make lemonade out of any lemons that came her way. She will be deeply missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
