Bradshaw Dies in Southampton Suffolk, Va., 07 May – Mrs. Susan M. Bradshaw died at her old home place in Southampton County, 30 April 1924. She had been visiting her daughter in Franklin, Va., and left for her home only a few days before her death. She was a well-known and honored citizen and had spent all her life in that community. She joined Millfeld Baptist Church when she was a young girl. She is survived by six children, Mrs. A. L. Cutchins of Sedley, Va., Mrs. Rosa Spivey of Emporia, Mrs. Ella Johnson of Suffolk, Mrs. Mary Lee Blythe of Petersburg, Mrs. Mattie Harris of Franklin and Walter Bradshaw of Sedley, Va.; 27 grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. On account of the illness of her son's wife, Mrs. Walter Bradshaw, funeral services were conducted at the grove by Rev. H. M.
