He was with the company 40 plus years. He enjoyed Nascar races, the Dallas Cowboys, grilling and making barbeque, boating, going to Lake Gaston, and once a month at Sanford‚Äôs eating oysters and socializing. Frankie loved to laugh and have fun. He enjoyed working, his family, and his friends. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Cindy Wellons McFarland; a son, Jason Aaron McFarland (Jamie); a sister, Teresa Ann Cobb (Shawn); two grandchildren, Jaxen and Jaden McFarland; his father-in-law, Floyd Wellons; and a brother-in-law, Woody Wellons (Connie). A Funeral Service will be held at 1PM Sunday, May 5, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery off of Homestead Rd.
