He was the son of William Henry and Mary Beale O’Berry, and surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Louisa Glover O’Berry of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Whitley and Mrs. Laurie Langley of Franklin, and Mrs. Carrie Ward of Nansemond County; a son, W. T. O'Berry of Newsoms; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. O'Berry was employed as a district road foreman in the county for many years before he had to retire from active work. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery here by the Rev. Harry W. Backhus, III, and the Rev. R. D. Stephenson. Pallbearers were: John Beale, J. Edgar Weede, L. M.
