Parma Parsons Obituary Parma C. Parsons Portsmouth - Parma C. Parsons, 95, passed away peacefully at Riverside Healthy Living Community-Smithfield on January 7, 2018. Mrs. Parsons was a native and lifelong resident of Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Lorenzo R. Calderazzi and Parma Burns Calderazzi. She was past president of both the Siesta Gardens Civic League and the Portsmouth Federation of Civic Clubs. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Child and Family Services of the United Way. At the age of 64, when most people are thinking of retiring, she began serving as the office manager of her son's dermatology practice for the next 21 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas W. Parsons, Jr. in 1968 and her son, Dr. Thomas J. Parsons, in 1985. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Mary McWhorter and brothers Thomas, Joseph, and Michael Calderazzi. Survivors include her son, Dr. Jerome M. Parsons; daughters, Parma P. Tuberty and Susan P. Booth; sons-in-law, John M. Tuberty, Sr. and Dr. Jeffrey Booth; daughter-in-law Suzanne B. Parsons; grandchildren Tricia Dozier, John M. Tuberty, Jr., Alan P. Booth, Wyatt N. Booth, Thomas J. Parsons, Jr., Mary P. Kaeppler and Theresa P. Neff; and great-grandchildren, Isabel Parsons, Oliver Parsons, Carol Dozier and Joseph Kaeppler.
