Mr. Rainwater was retired from the U.S. Gypsum Co. He had lived here for 41 years, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Rainwater; sons, Donald Rainwater, Wayne Rainwater, Raymond Rainwater and Dale Rainwater, all of Greenville; brothers, Virgil Rainwater of Morrilton, Ark., and Jarrell Rainwater of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
