Hopewell, 14 May - Mrs. Mary Frances Lowe, a resident of Hopewell for the past 18 years, died Saturday in a Hopewell hospital. She is survived by five daughters: Mrs. E.P. Kiernan of Norfolk, Mrs. W.S. Hines of Suffolk, Mrs. A.A. Slagle of Sparrows Point, Md., and Mrs. J.H. Ross and Mrs. J.T. Gay of Hopewell; three sons: J.T. Lowe Jr. and Hugh Ben Lowe of Hopewell, and T.R. Lowe of Norfolk; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg, with burial in Emporia.
