Suffolk - Carolyn Roberts, 75, passed away in her home on July 28, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Julian and Olivera Goodwin. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Roberts, and daughter, Diane Stoekl. 

Carolyn retired as a Probation Officer from the Court Services Unit in Suffolk. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Judy Collins and husband, Bruce of Virginia Beach; grandchildren Danielle and Ryan Stoekl; son-in-law Steve Stoekl all of Suffolk; brother, Julian Goodwin of Brooklyn, NY; and special friend David Bailey. 

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 4, at 3 p. m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435 by Rev. Robert F. Cofield, Jr. 

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations in memory of Carolyn Roberts be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 650309,Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Condolences may be registered at www.bakerfoster.com.
