She was born 8 June 1905 in Stokes County to Josephus and Miranda Eaton Shouse. Mrs. Williams was a former member of Dean Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Williams, Sr., in 1957 and two sons, John Henry Williams, Jr. and Clinton Thomas Williams.
