She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ann Summervill Stephenson and widow of John T. H. Branch. Mrs. Branch was a native of Southampton County, and had been a resident of South Norfolk for the last 13 years. Besides her daughter, she is survived by three sons, E. H. and Victor Branch, of South Norfolk, and D. D. Branch, of Salem; three daughters, Mrs. Alice S. Persons, of Salem; Mrs. Bertha B. Eaton, of Princess Anne County and Mrs. Townsend; a half-brother, C. T. Stephenson, and a half-sister, Miss Lina Stephenson, of Southampton County; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a member of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. The body was removed to the J. R, Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
