Obituary of Robert Louis Stephenson: Robert Louis Stephenson 28 MAR 1933 - 17 MAR 2005 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert 'Sam' Stephenson WINDSOR - Robert Louis "Sam" Stephenson, Sr., 71, died March 17, 2005 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy B. and James L. Stephenson, Jr. Mr. Stephenson was a lifetime member of Central Hill Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He opened Stephenson Realty on Main Street in Smithfield in 1970; followed by offices in Franklin, Suffolk and Portsmouth. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Edwards Stephenson; two sons, R. L. "Bobby" Stephenson and Michael K. Stephenson, of Windsor; a daughter, Brenda F. Starcher of Suffolk; four grandchildren; six great-grandchil-dren; numerous nieces and nephews; three brothers, W. R. "Tad" Stephenson of Smithfield, Thomas Earl Stephenson of Suffolk, and F. Danny Stephenson of Suffolk. A funeral service was held at Central Hill Baptist Church, Windsor on Sunday, March 20 with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
