Ernest is survived by his wife, Juanita Blythe Synor; a daughter, Teresa S. Hall (David) of Warsaw, VA; a sister, Jean S. Sadler (Benji) of Callao, VA; a brother, Lewis F. Sydnor of Kinsale, VA; two grandchildren, Mikel and Makenzie Hall; several nieces and nephews; and extended family, Chris Blythe. He was a retired local supervisor for Virginia Power and was a member of Masonic Lodge 264 AF & AM in Herndon, VA. He was passionate about automobiles and loved building cars, chopping the tops, customizing, painting, and also dirt track racing. A Graveside Service will be held at 3PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery, 637 Totuskey Church Rd., Warsaw, VA, with Rev. Jesse Blythe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hunterdale Christian Church.
