Virginia Moore dies; headed Virginia Home  

Mrs. Virginia Tabb Moore, a past president of the Virginia Home, died yesterday at her home. She was 74 and lived at 4807 Charmian Road.  

Born in Smithfield, she was a graduate of St. Catherine's School. She attended Sweet Briar College and graduated from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond.  

She was the widow of Roderick Dunnmore Moore.  

A member of the board of trustees of the Virginia Home for 50 years, she was also a member of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She was on the Woman's Club board of governors.  

She was also a member of the Colonial Dames in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Country Club of Virginia, the Junior League of Richmond, and the Princess Anne Country Club of Virginia Beach.  

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William R. Gardner Jr. of Richmond, and a son, Dr. West Tabb Moore of Washington. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night.  

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Home or a favorite charity.
