Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary Elizabeth Harris Hawkins, and the widow of Clifton Floyd (Whitey) Turner Sr. Mrs. Turner was a member of Ettrick United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Leininger and husband, Mitchell, of Colonial Heights; two sons, Charles H. Turner and wife, Carolyn, and Cliff Turner Jr. and wife, Linda, all of Chesterfield; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, with the Rev. James Blankenship officiating.
