Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R. E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church, Burial will be ion Holly Lawn Cemetery. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at South Quay and was the wife of the late John Turner and the daughter of the late John Turner and Susanna Turner of Southampton COUNTY. She Is survived by four daughters, Miss Marie Turner of the home, Mrs. Marjorie Copeland of Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. Clayton McLeneny of Holland, and Mrs. Wilson Ellis of Suffolk; four sons, Raleigh Turner and Fenton Turner of Colerain, N.C., and Ray Turner and James Turner of Suffolk, 36 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Turner were conducted Satur day afternoon at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R. E. Brittle pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Phillip Johnson sang two numbers, “When They Ring Those Golden Bells" and “Beyond the Sunset" accompanied at the organist by Mrs. Claudia Jacobs. The Rev. R. E. Brittle, read “Tennyson’s poem “Crossing the Bar.” The casket was covered with a pall of pink gladioli. Pallbearers were Thomas Turner, Ray Turner, Shirley Ellis Johnny Engle, Richard Duck, Roy Turner, Charlie Turner and Charles A. Jimerson.
