Severn Warrington Obituary

Severn Warrington, age 82, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2022. 

Severn was born in 1940, in Nansemond County, VA, to Clifford and Ellen Warrington. 

He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He worked in the peanut industry for over 35 years before retiring. He was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church and was a proud member of the Driver Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Clifford Warrington; his daughter, Kimberley Warrington-Manley; his stepdaughters, Amy Drake Edgell and Danise Archer; his sister, Catherine King; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, Niece, and Nephew. 

He will be deeply missed by his friends and family in England as well as his Dearly Devoted Friend, Holly Hoffler. 

A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 11 AM at R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, North Suffolk Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 6 - 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
