He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Wendt of Washington, D.C.; two sons, George (Ashley Martin) Wendt of Winter Garden and Jason Wendt of Wheaton, Md.; mother, Elsie Wendt of Crystal Lake; and two sisters, Judy Tolman of Poinciana, Fla., and Eileen Breitzke of Crystal Lake.
