SUFFOLK - William Thomas West, 66, of Route 3, retired farmer, died in a Williamsburg hospiItal Friday at 7:15 p.m. A son of William H. and Betty Lankford West, he was an Isle of Wight County native. 

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Linda Heffington West of Nansemond County; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Mansfield of Nansemond; three sons, Thomas Edward West and J. W. West of Smithfield and Raymond West of Suffolk: two brothers, Lankford West and J. E. West of Smithfield; a sister, Mrs. Marion Chapman of Smithfield; and six grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be conducted in R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home Sunday at 2:30 p.m., with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery The family will be at the home of C. W. Wright, 211 York Street.
