Frances Jane Pierce Ray Wiggins 30 AUG 1882 - 4 DEC 1955 Mrs. Jane P. Wiggins SUFFOLK, Dec 4- Mrs. Jane Pierce Wiggins died at 5 p. m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Jolly, at 408 York Street, after an illness of three days. She was the wife of the late John Sullivan Wiggins, and daughter of of the late Thomas and Priscilla Pierce, of Bertie County, N. C. Besides her daughter with whom she resided, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Wyatt and Mrs. Jesse B Babb, Sr., both of Suffolk, two sons, Lee Ray and Charlie Joseph Ray, both of Sutfolk; two step-sons, Johnny Wiggins and Eddie Wiggins, both of Suffolk; four step - daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Turner and Mrs. William Powell, both of Suffolk, Mrs. Robert Baxter and Mrs. Harold Fenton, both of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs.H. R. Outlaw of Merry Hill, N. C.; two brothers, Jim Pierce, of Windsor. N. C., and Raleigh Pierce, of Merry Hill; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Merry Hill Baptist Church. The body was taken to the I. O. Hill and Company Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending.
