He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie Joyner Winstead; a son, Norman Douglas parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. Winstead, of Franklin; two brothers, Charles L. and Thomas E. Winstead, both of Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Bradshaw, of Courtland, Mrs. Roscoe Kearse, of Richmond; Mrs. John D. Murphy, of Franklin, and Mrs. Clarence Murphy, also of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. at the First Christian Church by the Rev. C. C. Cleveland. Burial will be in the Peninsula Memorial Park Cemetery in Warwick.
