She was born in Southampton County, the only child of Luther and Minnie Pope Worrell. Mrs. Bradshaw was also predeceased by a son, Raymond Bradshaw and three grandchildren, Tonya Sue Blount, Calvin Blount, and Melvin Dunlow, Jr. She was a longtime employee of Rose s Department Store.
