William J. Young  

NORFOLK - William Joseph Young, 78, of 915 Westover Ave., son of John and Mrs. Irene Morris Young, died in a Norfolk hospital Saturday at 11 a.m.  

A native of Richmond, he lived in Norfolk for 50 years.  

He is survived by three sons, Jack W. Young and Edward W. Young of Norfolk, and William J. Young of Savannah, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Anderson of Macon, Ga., Mrs. Carolyn Bailey of Norfolk, and Miss Melissa Sue Young of Savannah; and three grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Arthur Parke Roach of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
